This is a collection of artwork to portray poems from the later part of Sylvia Plath’s life. The poem, “Poppies in July”, is represented using burnt pages to portray the "little hell flames" that Plath discusses within her poem. In the next piece, “Contusion”, this artwork uses an abstract watercolor painting to describe the “bruises” talked about in her work. The final poem shown, “Edge”, is a series of pages that fade from black to white and is used to represent her battle with suicidal ideations.
